We are currently aware of issues surrounding AVG and Avast anti-virus flagging up solaris-updater as a virus. This has been reported to AVG who have confirmed that this is an error. If you see this message then please click 'ignore threat'
We have requested that VG and Avast whitelist this file to prevent this happening in future. You may however need to re-install Solaris if your Anti-Virus has deleted it. (click here to download)
This occurs because the system has a low count on downloads (compared to many other applications) and some antivirus companies will block by default something that they have little info on. To be clear there is no virus associated with Solaris
